And this is the hilarious way Marci was sleeping yesterday. Ignore the fact that our pillows don't have cases on them. THEY WERE IN THE WASH!

So, today is my little girl's 2nd birthday!!!!!!!! My baby is actually TWO already!
Jamie and I were up until 3 in the morning getting stuff ready for today. We got her a Dora play kitchen and we made sure it was set up and ready for her to stumble her sleepy self into the kitchen in the morning and see Dora's smiling face. First, she saw the balloons, and then you hear a loud, resounding "DORA!!" Well...it was more like "DOWA!" But, you get the idea.
We also got her a goldfish. And, I can't possibly stress enough how fat this fish is. Seriously. You won't get it until you see him. He is divinely fat. I guess its his breed. They were all pretty fat. Marci is TOTALLY obsessed with him. First we had him on the kitchen table, but within 15 minutes of that, she had pulled his entire bowl over and dumped him on the floor. So now he's on the kitchen counter and we bring him down so she can feed him. We asked her what she wants to name him and she said "Chicken." So now thats his name! And she calls him Chicken too!
Today is her party at 5. It's looking pretty grim outside. 72 with scattered showers they said. But you know, of course the rest of the week is supposed to be glorious. I'm just hoping that the scattered showers scatter themselves AROUND the time frame of 5-7. That would be great.
Ok! I have to get back to giving my birthday girl attention!
